Plaza Suite

By Neil Simon

Directed by Julie Bell Petrak
Stage managed by Robyn Mortiboys.

Hilarity abounds in this portrait of a suite at the Plaza being occupied on successive weekends by a suburban couple staying there while their house is painted and discovering that it is the same one in which they honeymooned 23 (or was it 24?!) years before. The next couple is a three times married Hollywood producer who is rendezvousing with a woman who might just want to be wife number 4. Finally we meet the harassed parents of a daughter who has locked herself in the suites bathroom as they fight about how best to get her out of there and into the ballroom at the hotel which is filled with guests waiting to witness her marriage. One of Neil Simon’s best-loved plays it is guaranteed to make you laugh.
